Ariane Thompson

Ariane Thompson has practiced acupuncture since 1998. She trained in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture at the Southwest College of Oriental Medicine in Bristol, obtaining a Diploma of Acupuncture and is a registered member of the British Register of Complementary Medicine (Oriental Medicine division). She also trained in Shiatsu - sometimes referred to as acupuncture without needles or acupressure at the European Shiatsu School in London and still uses elements of this effective therapy when needles are not appropriate.

Ariane has held clinics in London, Cambridge, Newmarket and now works from two clinics in Leicester and Melton Mowbray.

Before this, Ariane was a professional ballet dancer for 10 years and still teaches regularly. She believes this experience has helped in her present understanding of pain, stress, injury and good health.
